Serralves: Porto's Contemporary Art Museum and Park
Serralves is Portugal’s leading contemporary art museum, and so much more: a minimalist white building by Álvaro Siza, a pink Art Deco villa, and a vast park with formal gardens, woodland, a farm and a treetop walkway. It’s a peaceful half-day escape in western Porto.
Quick answer: Serralves is in the Boavista area, towards the coast. Park tickets start from about €12, and full tickets including the museum and villa cost more. Allow 2 to 3 hours, and don’t miss the Treetop Walk through the canopy. See Serralves tickets.
