Best Lagos restaurants with a view
O Camilo
Also known as Restaurante Camilo. O Camilo is by far one of the best seafood restaurants in Lagos, with a fantastic view. The restaurant is located at the top of a cliff overlooking the Lagos coastline with the Monchique Mountains in the background. Here you get to choose your own fish from the impressive display or pick a traditional seafood Caldeirada or Cataplana from the menu. Every time I come in here, the place is packed, so make sure to book in advance. They are open for lunch from noon and stay open until late. It is a perfect spot to enjoy delicious seafood.
Restaurante Por do Sol
Por do Sol is by far one of the best local restaurants in Lagos. Restaurante Por do Sol also has the best beach views in Lagos. Located right on the Meia Praia beach, serves the most delicious pork and shrimp kebabs. I would love to keep this spot a secret, but their food is seriously too good not to share. The portions are generous, and I usually get the Pork on a spit to share between two people.
Berlim
Lagos is known for its seafood, and the restaurant Berlim serves fresh seafood every day. The restaurant has the best views of Lagos, Ponta Piedade and the Atlantic Ocean. I love this spot for casual eats, and they do very nice mussels. If you are looking for a cheap restaurant in Lagos with a view, this spot is perfect. They have a snack menu where you can grab a tosta mista and a beer for a very reasonable price.
Bahia
Bahia is one of my newest Lagos Portugal restaurant discoveries. It is a fantastic spot if you are looking for a romantic restaurant right on the beach in Lagos. You can easily reach the restaurant on foot from Lagos marina. The tuna ceviche was the freshest I have ever had in Lagos. The chicken wings had a lovely spice to them. The restaurant has a very romantic feel to it, and having dinner right on the beach by candlelight must be the best way to spend an evening.

Restaurante dos Artistas
Restaurante dos Artistas is one of the most romantic restaurants in Lagos, according to the Michelin guide. Located in the historic centre of Lagos, it is one of the best Michelin star restaurants in Lagos. This very classy dining spot takes a Lagos old-town food experience to a whole new level. Here you have a choice of an a la carte menu or a chef’s tasting menu and an extensive wine list. I opted for the tasting menu, and it was a true treat.
Alma Lusa
For an upscale and traditional fine dining Lagos experience, head to Alma Lusa. Showcasing great quality Portuguese ingredients and flavours and featuring an extensive wine selection, this restaurant is a must-visit. Located just outside the old town of Lagos but still within walking distance. The friendly staff can always recommend something great, but the pork and octopus were absolute highlights for me, but honestly, anything you order here is top-class.

Great tapas restaurant in Lagos where you will find both locals and tourists enjoying traditional Portuguese cuisine. The dishes are small and perfect for sharing, and there are many seafood options to try, including octopus, crab and the most popular of all, cod. I highly recommend booking a table in advance as the restaurant gets very busy, especially on the weekends, as it is one of the highest-rated TripAdvisor Lagos restaurants.
Taberna da mó
The best tapas restaurant in the heart of Lagos old town. Taberna da mó is the perfect spot to enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine. This is one of the best Lagos restaurants with a view of the street, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while people-watching. The menu highlights are the flaming chorizo sausage, black pork, Portuguese cheese and shrimp dishes. It is one of my favourite Lagos old town restaurants.

Located within 10min walking distance from the Lagos centre, Sunrays Kitchen serves the best brunch in Lagos. This fantastic little spot serves healthy, full of flavour dishes. The menu features many vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes. My favourite dishes include the falafel bowl and the spiced lamb flatbread.
Goji Lounge
Goji Lounge serves delicious breakfast and lunch in the heart of Lagos old town. If you are looking for a healthy breakfast in Lagos or lunch, this is your spot. The menu features sweet or savoury pancakes, breakfast bowls and Buddha bowls. Whether you are up for a big breakfast or a healthy juice, this place has you covered.
Kinoah. luz
The best brunch spot in Praia da Luz. Kinoah is located just outside of Lagos in Praia da Luz. I had to include it on this list as it is a seriously fabulous spot to come to and enjoy your afternoon lunch. Located in a villa estate just outside the main town centre, it features a swimming pool and loungers where you can relax for the day. They even have a massage studio. If you are planning to come here on Saturday or Sunday, make sure to book your table in advance.

You can order from Poke Lagos on the Uber Eats app for delivery. This is my favourite grab-and-go healthy restaurant in Lagos old town. Whether you prefer to take your lunch to the beach or eat in, Poke Lagos is a perfect healthy spot in the town centre. Pick a small or large bowl and your toppings. I usually go for a large tuna poke to share, but they also have sweet bowls available.
Nah Nah Bah
The best burgers in Lagos. Nah Nah Bah serves the best burgers in the area and holds the prize for the World´s Top 50 Burger competition. You are guaranteed seriously good taste every time. Nah Nah Bah also delivers in Lagos if you don’t fancy getting out of the house. I ordered from the restaurant many times, and the burgers were as good as when dining in the restaurant.
Southwest Bistro
The best restaurant in Lagos marina. South West Bistro serves delicious chicken wings and, again, mouthwatering burgers. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Lagos marina, and it is a perfect spot to enjoy lunch or dinner with a view.
Green Room
Great Mexican restaurant in Lagos. If you are looking for a casual dining experience, this is one of the best restaurants in Lagos city centre to go to. Located on a quiet street off the Lagos marina, serves traditional Mexican tacos and burritos. They also have an extensive cocktail and drinks menu.
Pepperino
The best Italian pizza in Lagos old town. Pepperino Pizzeria serves fresh and perfectly cooked pizza with quality Portuguese ingredients. If you don’t fancy sitting down at a restaurant, the nearby Beer & Co. pub serves pizza from Pepperino as well. If you prefer to order in, Pepperino and Beer & Co also deliver in Lagos.
