Lisbon in Autumn: Weather and Things to Do
Autumn is a lovely time in Lisbon: the summer crowds thin out, the sea is still warm in September, and golden light floods the viewpoints. Rain returns gradually, but there are plenty of sunny days. Here’s what to expect from September to November.
Quick answer: September is still summery (around 25 to 28°C) and great for beaches. October is warm and pleasant, with fewer tourists. November is cooler and wetter, but it’s chestnut season, when vendors roast chestnuts on the streets. Prices drop after September.
