WOW (World of Wine), Porto: What to Know
WOW, the World of Wine, is a cultural quarter in restored port lodges on the hillside in Vila Nova de Gaia. It has several interactive museums, a wine school, shops, bars and restaurants with terraces overlooking Porto. It’s a fun, all-weather addition to a port cellar visit.
Quick answer: WOW is in Gaia, uphill from the riverside cellars. It has several separate museums with their own tickets, including the popular Chocolate Story (about €20 for adults), plus exhibitions on wine, cork and Porto’s history. The restaurants and terraces are free to visit. See WOW tickets.
