The Algarve in Spring
Spring is a beautiful season in the Algarve: wildflowers cover the clifftops, almond and orange blossom scents the air, the days are warm and sunny, and the beaches are quiet. It’s perfect for hiking, golf and exploring before the summer crowds. Here’s what to expect.
Quick answer: expect around 19 to 25°C from March to May, with mostly sunny days and occasional showers early in the season. The sea is still cool (around 16 to 18°C). It’s ideal for the Seven Hanging Valleys and other coastal walks, golf, boat trips and sightseeing. Easter is busy.
