Porto in Spring: Weather and Things to Do
Spring brings Porto back to life after the rainy winter: terraces reopen, gardens bloom, the Douro vineyards turn green, and the city is pleasantly busy rather than packed. Here’s what to expect from March to May.
Quick answer: expect around 17 to 22°C by day, with showers in March and April and more sunshine in May. It’s great for walking, port tastings, gardens and Douro trips as the vines come into leaf. Bring a light rain jacket.
